TNSRS Awards Night San Diego, CA - Sept. 11, 2001

Subject: 70s BBQ Party at the Velodrome 9/11

To finish off the (track cycling) season, the SDVA will be
hosting a 70s barbeque party at the San Diego Velodrome on
Tuesday, September 11. The schedule and fees will be as
usual. Track opens at 6:00pm, racing starts at 7:00. $10
registration fee, $5 for SDVA members.

Come dressed in your best 70s outfits. We will attempt to
rent traditional (quad) roller skaters from Aquarius.
Please e-mail me with your shoe size ASAP if you'd like to
participate. One of us will pick them up and drop them off
at Aquarius. There will be a nominal rental fee.

And the barbeque! Let's do it pot-luck style between the
skaters. The Velodrome folks will provide the grill,
charcoal, and hot dogs and buns. We bring everything else.
Please let me know what you'd like to bring. Some things
I'd suggest:

        - Hamburger, veggie patties, or chicken
        - Buns and fixins for above
        - Chips and stuff
        - Salad
        - Drinks and ice

I'll bring plates, cups, napkins, and utensils that we
have from previous barbeques.
