Overall Omnium placement was determined by the total points earned from (1) the 1000m sprint race, (2) a longer fixed-distance race, and (3) the last wo/man out competition. Points were awarded 7-5-3-1 for finishing 1st-2nd-3rd-4th in each Omnium event, respectively. Fixed-distance races were 7k for Elite and 5k for Advanced and Women.
