Join us for an exciting day of skate racing at the San Diego Velodrome in beautiful Balboa Park. Compete in one of the skill classes and watch the nation's Pro/Elite skaters battle it out.
        Racing will take place on the apron at the bottom of the banked cycling track. Smooth asphalt, flat, level, 333m oval lap.
        Industry representatives and local businesses will be present to showcase their latest products. Come by to compete or spectate. There will be food concessions and live entertainment on-site.

Dear skaters,
    Due to extreme scheduling difficulties with the San Diego Velodrome, SDSE regrets that we will not be able to produce the Spring Speedskating Championships in 2001. Please consider our other events planned for this year: a yet-to-be-announced road race within the city of San Diego in the late summer or early fall.
    Sorry for the inconvenience. We are disappointed as you are, too. Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you at another race!
