2002 Tuesday Night Racing Series

SPRING SERIES: EVERY OTHER WEEK FROM APRIL 16 THROUGH MAY 28, 2002
SUMMER SERIES: EVERY OTHER WEEK FROM JULY 9 THROUGH AUGUST 27, 2002
Inline racing returns to the Velodrome for a fourth year to
accompany the Tuesday night cycling races. In 2002 the racing has
been split up into two shorter series, running every other week for
four events each. Also new this year will be separate categories
for Advanced and Pro/Elite skaters.
Inline racing will take place on the
apron at the bottom of the banked cycling track. Smooth asphalt,
flat, level, 333m oval lap. Track lighting keeps the facility
brightly lit after sunset. Skate and bicycle races will be
intermixed in the evening schedules.
Events will change from week to week for variety. Points scored
each week will be totalled at the end of each series for series
awards. Come by to compete or spectate!
