E-mail is SDSE's primary means of communication.
With it our members plan trips for upcoming races, summarize races attended,
and share information on special events. The e-mail list takes the place of a
formal newsletter, allowing news to be communicated in a timely manner.
Discounts
SDSE members receive special discounts on service
and merchandise through the club's business sponsors with their membership
cards.
Social Events
Of course skating is fun, but it's even more fun
to hang out with skaters. SDSE hosts various social events to allow members
to relax outside of skating.
Other Benefits
San Diego Street Elite is the central organization
for fitness and speedskating in the county. Occasionally we receive requests
from industry-related manufacturers to test prototype products before they hit
the market. Sometimes we receive casting calls for speedskaters for an
advertisement, film, or special event.
Racing Team Benefits
Members who race regularly receive the additional
benefits from our product sponsors. All we ask is that Racing Team members wear
the SDSE uniform at every event they attend to promote our sponsor's names.

Anybody can join SDSE with a $20 annual donation to
the club which most skaters will have returned to them in the form of benefits.
